Millwork in Process

Three generations of woodworking in New York. Era’s millwork atelier has operated in Brooklyn and across the city for decades — producing bespoke cabinetry, architectural woodwork, and custom furniture for private residences. These photographs document work in progress: frames being fitted, panels assembled, hardware installed, finishes applied. The knowledge documented in our Construction & Joinery, Materials Specification, and Spatial Systems collections describes work that originates here. The photographs here document work spanning more than fifteen years — fabrication in progress, material arrivals, installation details, and finished work before delivery. Some pieces have passed through private sales and auction.
